Roof
Keep the last major work dates, ridge date, inspection notes, photographs, repairs and any next review recommended by your thatcher. Look for change rather than trying to diagnose condition from a checklist.
Chimneys and appliances
Track each chimney and appliance separately. Keep sweeps, inspections, services, liner work, certificates and the next interval you are following, with the source recorded.
Fire and electrical records
Keep smoke-alarm or roof-space detector records, electrical inspection documents, fire-equipment servicing and any professional recommendations relevant to your property.
Insurance
At each renewal, archive the policy and endorsements, review the conditions, note any changes and update your tracked requirements. Save broker or insurer correspondence about unusual features or changes.
Property history
Keep contractors, costs, consents, surveys and photographs. The objective is that a new owner could understand the last ten years without depending on your memory.
